UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
In Davis for the Summer?

Interested in Ecology, Behavior, Conservation, or Evolution?
Want to be a part of a lab using Cutting-edge Technology?
Come join the Patricelli Lab!

Our lab seeks motivated undergraduates to join projects involving a threatened bird species, the greater sage-grouse. We are conducting two parallel studies, first to investigate mate choice and sexual signaling in sagegrouse, and second to test experimentally the effects of anthropogenic noise on breeding behavior in this species. Student projects involve analyzing high-definition video recordings of behavior, multi-channel audio recordings, and digital photographs.

Course credit available. No previous experience necessary. Preference given to students also available Fall quarter. If interested, please contact Alan Krakauer (ahkrakauer@ucdavis.edu).
