Jones & Stokes, a premiere employee-owned environmental consulting firm, has won a major Natural Resource related project and immediately needs to hire several Mid-level Analysts who will work on a temporary short-term/full-time (40 hours/week) basis for 6 – 12 weeks. Must have at least a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in any of the following disciplines; biological, social, or physical sciences, or humanities, such as English, Philosophy, or History. Preference will be given to those candidates with 3 to 5 years of proven project level experience. Subject area expertise related to environmental policies/regulations and specialized experience in the National Environmental Policy Act area and some training in Performance Based Service Contracts a plus. The Analyst provides the hands on analysis of public concerns and issues. Analysts must code or parcel out pertinent information related to the project being responded to. Must be able to discern the difference between subjects and topics and have a background varied enough to understand connections between issues, and link the findings both temporally and spatially. These employees must have the people skills necessary for working in a team environment and communication skills to assist each other in producing high quality work.

These positions require the ability to work independently and maintain high ethical standards with a positive team oriented attitude. The starting wage is $16/hour.
